History of Artificial intelligence

Hey you!! We live in an exciting time of AI. Over the past decades, AI has made remarkable progress.

Have you ever wondered about the origin of AI? AI is a recent development in technology. We have frequently heard about the word AI in the last several years, right??

In the early days, AI had simple rules and patterns. But over time, it has increased to become complex and sophisticated. It has several new breakthroughs, and it is more and more capable of solving complex tasks that humans cannot solve.

In this blog post, we truly understand the history of AI in past decades. We must start with ancient roots. The journey of AI does not begin with the computer and algorithms but with  the philosophical pondering of great thinkers.

We will also dig into how AI has changed over time in terms of its underlying technology.Let’s delve into the history of AI!!!!

Origin of Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence, or AI, refers to the ability to stimulate human Intelligence in machines and computer systems to perform simple to complex tasks; it can perform a task, is familiar with solving problems, and is efficient in making decisions. In simple words, AI can mimic human knowledge.

The first half of the 20th century is familiar with the concept and word “Artificial Intelligence”. By the 1950s, scientists, mathematicians and philosophers researched the history of AI.

Overview of the history of AI

  • AI is a young discipline over sixty years including the set of science, theories, techniques such as mathematics, logic, statistics, probability, computer neurobiology and computer science.
  • AI aims to imitate the cognitive ability of human intelligence.
  • It Initiated at Second World War and developed to intimately link to computing and have led computers to solve complex problems that have been delegated by humans.
  • Automation of AI is far away from human intelligence in the strict sense.
  • We are in the ultimate stage of achieving the strong AI ( ability to have specialized power to solve complex problem ) compared to the current achievement i.e., Weak or Moderate AI(does not have efficiency over the result).
